Fog machines and laser beams

Wow, the day after that last post all hell broke loose for Dipps and me.

It started with him arriving back at 4am to the Hoboken flat from South America.

It started for me a mere 4 hours later as I headed off to pick up what turned out to be a 15 foot truck in New York City to haul all our stuff across (or under rather) the Hudson River.

It was moving day. And it was gnarly.

Little boxes

I've moved into my new apartment in Hoboken - finally.

One word comes to mind to describe this feeling... GLORY.

It feels so good to have a place of my own. My space. My apartment. My castle.... ok, not exactly a castle. But it sure as hell feels like it!

Big day out... car - check; apartment - check

What a day!

Things have been hectic this week. This is my... 6th day in the States. I've been spinning a little getting things sorted, but today, so much of that fell into place.

It started this morning when I bought my car. It was crazy. I've been looking at dealerships and 'gumtree' websites, finding all sorts of cars.
