Awesome City Limits - Part II

"Keep Austin Weird" is a slogan to promote small business in Texas' state capital. It's also become a flag for Austinites to wave proudly, declaring pride in their personal eccentricities; a freak flag, loud and bright. The official slogan of the city is 'The Live Music Capital of the World' which carries a lot of truth under the surface, despite the ballsy, almost ludicrous claim it first appears to seem.

Keep Austin Weird - the time had finally come, boarding a flight to Austin, TX, ten days of insane lay ahead.

I sat next to two stinking hipsters hacking away at mixing programs on their Apple Macs. Tattoed and pierced, they literally did stink. At least the one next to me did when he took off his worn-out Converse sneakers. Geepers creepers.

This time the destination is Austin, Texas for a weekend of stomping at Austin City Limits with my good friend Steve (who graced this site on road trips gone by - both here and here) and possibly the Rabbi and a few others. Dreaming of revelry.
