Merry Chrimbo everyone

It's been quite a while since the last post. Hectic how time flies. So, a belated Merry Christmas to anyone reading this - I hope it was a cracker!

A fair bit has happened since I got back from Dallas. A helluva lot actually. Hence the lack of face-time I've had with this blog. Where do I start...

I guess the biggest news is that I'm now an officially licensed New Jersey driver. Glory! I have a confession to make though... I failed my first attempt at the stupid written test. Geez, I was pisse...

Top secret training in Dallas

Flew to Dallas on Monday morning for a training session in their 40-storey downtown HQ.

Two former CIA officers - interrogation experts and professional polygraphers - were the trainers.

The material is based on years of CIA expertise in the interrogation of those suspected of espionage (love that word, so much better than saying 'spies').

And the caveat to the course is: do not tell your colleagues about any of the content...

Ok, so the headline and the opening paragraph are a little sensatio...

Central Park stride

Winter officially has New York in it's grip.

Yesterday, I was standing in my kitchen, making a sandwich, when I looked up and saw a few white specks floating in the air. I remember clearly saying out loud, to no one but myself, "what the f@#k?", running to the balcony and confirming for myself that they were indeed the first few flakes of winter snow. So cool! It snowed for about 3 or 4 hours, leaving a fine white blanket on the floor.
